Purchased as a part restored, incomplete Elan that was being built as a race car in the ‘90’s. It retains its 26r / GTS spec’ chassis, Leda suspension with fully adjustable wishbones all of which are “rose jointed”. Full Safety Devices cage, Tony Thompson drive train including a split / two piece prop shaft. It has light weight doors / bonnet / boot and 6 inch Revolution 5 spoke wheels. 26r spec Tony Thompson exhaust. Other than the roll cage and the wheels the car now looks as standard.
All major items have been restored and all other components renewed.
First proper trip out, Le Mans Classic 2018. 1400 miles with no problems..happy days.
