Car was bought by a Mr. Walker, Buckie, Scotland who was a building contractor. A year later he sold the car to my brother, Norman Morrison, on the 1st Feb., 1975. My brother who was a Chartered Surveyor, used it at work, and for trips to Ingliston circuit, Edinburgh and to F.1. race meetings at both Brands Hatch and Silverstone. For some reason he put the car into storage in the garage around 1985, and did not run it again. He passed away unexpectedly in Jan., 2017 and I subsequently inherited the car. A close friend who owns a number of Lotus, advised that I have the car rebuilt, so it was delivered to Paul Matty in Bromsgrove where it was totally restored to its current condition. |
