Comments: | I became the third owner in 1972, the exact date I can't recall. (The later required format of registration document did not show my exact purchase date and the original green log book that showed it, was not returned when the updated version was sent). The original colour was red. It was the Standard Triumph Navy Blue when I purchased it and is now the Lotus French Blue. The engine was rebuilt in 1973 with L2 cams. A Spyder chassis (No. SPY0786) was fitted in a !984-85 rebuild together with the Spyder doughnut and sliding spline drive shaft conversion. |
