Comments: I owner car (stored by Miles Wilkins for 25 years +) REG: XMP588G Miles replaced chassis, rebuilt suspension, engine and gearbox prior to my purchase (via a 3rd party who planned to finish off body tune etc.) I bought car and got it running well (a stuck float valve made for rough running) .. ready for its next 50 years !! Next was to convert it to electric - with the aim of keeping the same weight and legendary handling, but powered by the sun (from Solar PV panels), and so without noise and pollution (and 22mpg !) Engine was sold which paid for some Tesla Batteries, the motor gives same power as the Twincam but with 75% more torque, from Zero. Range is same 120-180miles and weight ended up slightly lighter at 650Kg . From the outside and in cockpit it is completely standard and surprisingly original.
